Lunarstar padded outside of the leader's den, stretching her limbs and giving off a yawn. She blinked her blue eyes, the morning light dappling her silver-ish/blue fur. Today, I will go hunting with my clanmates. Leaders do not sit in camp while their clanmates do all the work for them! Lifeclan's leader thought, watching her sister, Solarflare, pad outside.

"Solarflare, come join me on a hunting patrol!" Lunarstar called to the warrior, a smile gracing her soft lips. Solarflare nodded, joining her sister with a loud purr.

"Beautiful day, is it not? Anyway, let's wait for maybe two more cats," Solarflare, the golden she-cat with emerald green eyes, mewed.

"I'll go with you!" Clovermist purred "That is if you want me to?"

[Sirius]

"Sure, you can join us!" Lunarstar and Solarflare purred at the same time. The two sisters mocked an angry glance before laughing. Same Solarflare, that's for sure! Lunarstar giggled mentally, turning back to Clovermist.

"So, we need just one more warrior or apprentice," Lunarstar mumbled, her blue orbs lingering on the warriors' den before wavering over to the apprentices' den.

Gingerfur a male came up to Clovermist "Hello, love" he purred nuzzling her


"Hello.." Clovermist replied

[Sirius]

"Hello, Gingerfur!" Solarflare greeted in a sweet tone, her green eyes full of friendliness. "Would you like to join me, Clovermist, and Lunarstar on a hunting patrol?"

Lunarstar's face went blank as thoughts of sinking her teeth into prey bubbled in her mind. I wouldn't mind a mouse, hm... even a vole sounds tempting right now!

"Sure anything for my clan!" he purred bravely

"Fantastic!" Lunarstar mewed, eyeing the fresh-kill pile wearily. It's pretty low, even though it's Greenleaf! Thank goodness I decided to start a hunting patrol, the leader mumbled inwardly, padding towards the camp exit, Solarflare at her heels. The two littermates walked out of camp together, Solarflare inhaling Lifeclan territory air. "Anyone have a suggestion of where to hunt at? Whoever does can lead the way."

"I don't," Solarflare replied almost instantly while turning to face the other Lifeclan warriors. "Clovermist, Gingerfur, any places you two want to hunt at?"

"Around Fourtrees" ginger fur said

[Sirius]

"Sounds good," Lunarstar mewed, stepping back to let Gingerfur lead. Solarflare stepped out of the way, her ears pricked up. I wonder what Solarflare is listening for. The golden she-cat was actually listening for danger, such as dogs and foxes. However, Lunarstar was not Solarflare, so she did not know.
